It takes a while, but eventually outside trends reach Brazil.
Although São Paulo lacks in public transportation and others basic needs, there has been a recent attempt to occupy the city the way Europeans do. Parties on the street, food trucks and rooftop parties became part of our vocabulary.
The new club on the rooftop of the iconic Maksoud Plaza, in São Paulo’s centre is one example of this trend. The hotel was once one of the most luxurious of the city and hosted celebrities like Madonna. After years forgotten, it started a movement to revitalise the building.
No better way than with a rooftop club that only opens to hosts the bests parties PanAm, the club, is really inspired by the old airline. The entrance with the airport sounds and bright lights even reminds the visitor of the departure lounge. The bartenders are fully dress as onboard commissaries to help you in your journey.
The place exemplifies the new São Paulo. Full of hipsters, drinks and a view.
