As we said before, the new trend in fashion campaigns is all about self acceptance. Wether your 20, 40 or 80.
This trend has developed in two waves: the anti-photoshop and no make-up and the real people on fashion campaigns.
Isn’t it amazing to see Joan Didion and Joni Mitchell as the two biggest stars of the spring/summer campaigns?
A cross between these two trends is Vogue Italia’s new editorial with Kate Moss. Not that Kate Moss is a normal person – sometimes I even wonder if she is real – but she is 40 and she is owning her age.
The editorial in question, shot by German photographer Peter Lindberg, shows a natural Kate in unretouched black-and-white images.
How can she do it?
