Nothing For Christmas

If you are one of those people who always reply ‘Nothing’ to the question ‘What do you want for Christmas this year?’, you better rethink your answer because nothing just got super expensive in 2014.

Nothing in this case is a wooden block, painted and numbered. Designed by Dutch freelance copywriter Pim de Graaff and it costs €199.

The project is meant to be a reminder for people to spend less and to enjoy what they already have in a period of chaotic consumerism. The proceeds go to Oxfam, in order to fight poverty worldwide.

It’s not very practical, but it’s a good conversation starter at the office’s Secret Santa.
