PFW SS15

The Summer of Loungewear

Paris closed this season reaffirming that next Summer should be mild according to fashion Gods. Lots of fur, leather and layers appeared in the catwalk. If you can cope with the heat, risk with turtlenecks and sweaters during the warmest season. Capes and long vests are also very strong; they both made an appearance in the major shows.

The new decade inspiration is certainly the 1970’s. Expect the comeback of flared trousers and loosed blouses.

Just like in Milan, the low-rise trousers are sneaking back to fashion. This is still in the beginning stages, but the buttcrack lover is winning over your hearts.

The next season will be all about comfort. Wide trousers and long skirts are very attractive. Alongside the continuing sports trend and the comeback of the pyjama (but we’re talking about Paris, so everything is still super chic).

As for shoewear, the sandal of the Summer will be the Gladiators that reach knee high.
